The Taste of Things Synopsis
France, 1885. Talented cook Eugenie (Juliette Binoche) has worked for the preeminent gourmet Dodin Bouffant (Benoît Magimel) for the last two decades. Their mutual admiration turns into a romance, and gives rise to dishes, one more delicious than the next, that confound even the world’s most illustrious chefs.
But Eugenie is fond of her freedom and has turned down Dodin's many proposals of marriage, so he decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her.
