Unexpected Synopsis

Newly-married, pregnant Chicago high school teacher Samantha Abbott (Cobie Smulders) struggles with what she wants to do once the baby is born. Her husband wants her to be a stay-at-home mom, but she's reluctant to give up her career.

At school, Samantha discovers Jasmine, one of her students, is unexpectedly pregnant. Jasmine decides to keep the child and Samantha and Jasmine form an unlikely friendship as they bond while comparing what they're going through.
